Sunsets in munising

While nothing beats a sunset on Lake Superior, watching the sun reflect off the magical cliffs and caves of the Pictured Rocks and Grand Island is truly an unforgettable experience. Munising has numerous beaches that make excellent sunset viewing spots.

Sand Point Beach is popular among tourists and locals alike and is a great place to watch the sunset over Munising Bay and Grand Island. Located just four miles northeast of Munising, the Weather Channel once named Sand Point Beach one of the “Top Five Summer Beaches in the United States.”

At Miners Beach, the sunset illuminates the Pictured Rocks cliffs – a sight you won’t want to miss.
