Speedball Tucker IPA (5.7% ABV) by East Channel Brewing Co. in Munising
Fresh-tasting and smooth with earthy, grapefruit-like hop notes, this IPA looked hazy and ended with a pleasantly bitter, dry finish.
On a camping trip last summer across the Upper Peninsula, I happened upon this small brewery and tiny taproom in Munising with a little help from Google Maps. And after visiting about a half dozen breweries up there, this one was among my favorites along with the much larger Blackrocks Brewery in Marquette.
