Looking for a fast paced flowy singletrack? You can find it at Valley Spur Recreation Area of the Hiawatha National Forest (located ~ 6 miles from Munising on M94). The singletrack begins from the parking lot and traverses the hills famous for cross country skiing, crossing multiple two tracks (ski trails) along the way. The lack of large roots or rocks creates a family friendly riding experience. For those looking to push a serious pace and test the limits of their tires, get ready for miles of fun with plenty of berms and rollers that’ll make you smile with a few short punchy climbs to keep you on your toes . Shorter routes can be created by combining sections of single-track and two track trails. New signage will be posted to differentiate the loops and trail segments. Note: all trails have been added to the TrailForks app.
