Any day is a great day to be grateful for the wonders of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, but September 6th is a particularly good day for doing so, because 906 (close enough to the date 9/6) is the area code for the entire U.P. Thanks to the folks at Yooper Steez, “906 Day” is now a thing, and in honor of this great day, we’re taking a moment to highlight some of the reasons to love the Upper Peninsula.
